Serobid Inhaler may be used with a Cipla Spacer/Zerostat Spacer device in patients who find it difficult to synchronise aerosol actuation with inspiration of breath.

Dosage

Adults with Asthma - Two inhalations (50 mg) twice daily. Adults with more severe airways obstruction - Four inhalations (100 mg) twice daily. COPD - 2 inhalations (50 mg) twice daily.

Interactions

Salmeterol and tricyclic antidepressants should not be combined because of additive effect on the vascular system. In some cases, this medication can induce paradoxical worsening of bronchospasm.

Side Effects
