Usage Information

This medication is inhaled into the lungs using special breathing equipment known as a hand held nebulizer. The medication must be diluted using normal saline as directed. This medication should be used as directed by doctor. However, increase neither your dose nor stops using this medication without first consulting your doctor.

Dosage

The usual single dose is two to three inhalations. Total dosage per day should not exceed 12 inhalations.

Interactions

Do not use this medicine with similar inhaled medicines such as levalbuterol, isoproterenol, pirbuterol, or terbutaline. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicine like blood pressure drugs, drugs for chest pain, drugs for diabetes, antidepressants etc. Do not start or stop any medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Side Effects

Dizziness, drowsiness, nervousness, shakiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, lightheadedness, difficulty sleeping, unusual taste in mouth or dry throat may occur. If any of these persists, consult your doctor immediately.
